World Read Aloud Day

World Read Aloud Day is on 7 February, a day to celebrate the joy and power of reading aloud. It's an initiative launched in 2010 by not-for-profit organisation, LitWorld, with the aim to recognise literacy as a basic human right. Over time, this day has garnered tremendous support, with millions of readers and listeners across 170+ countries participating in the festivities.

In celebration of this day, the CEnet Member Dioceses ACEN eBook Consortium invites students and staff in dioceses that have access to SORA to explore their eBook of the Week collection.

Each month a different diocese participating in the CEnet ACEN eBook consortium provide book selections and we thank the curators for providing these reads.
